EcoGenerator, i.e. a thermal waste neutralization plant for Szczecin Metropolitan Area, is yet another environment protection related contract executed by Mostostal Warszawa SA. The project completed in Ostrów Grabowski (Szczecin) marks one of the most modern incineration plants across Europe capable of converting 150 000 tons of waste into energy.

Zieloni RP Association has taken the honorary patronage over the Waste Neutralization Plant in Promnik near Kielce, which is being built by the Consortium made up of Mostostal Warszawa and Acciona Infrastruktura. By doing so, this oldest and largest Polish ecological organization decided, for the first time, to support a waste management project.

The most apparent elements of the project under completion by, inter alia, Mostostal Warszawa at the Opole Power Plant, i.e. the construction of two hard coal-fired power units, are already 80 meters tall.  

The Association for Safety in the Construction Industry" is an informal group of leading general contractors founded in 2010. Its aim is to eliminate fatal accidents at Polish construction sites. Mostostal Warszawa S.A. is one of the signatories and founders of the association. Last week, the group was joined by two new members, Unibep S.A. and Erbud S.A., companies that are socially engaged in improving working conditions.

We are happy to announce that a team of authors from Mostostal Warszawa SA and the Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurement (PIAP) won third place in the 42nd National Competition of Improvements in Working Conditions organised by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.

The first in Poland and one of the few European seasonal thermal energy stores has been put into operation at the Drewnica Mazovian Psychiatric Center in Ząbki near Warsaw. The so-called STES was built by the Research and Development Department of Mostostal Warszawa under the EU-funded EINSTEIN project. It is yet another project by Mostostal Warszawa aimed at developing innovations in construction engineering.

Mostostal Warszawa will renovate and rebuild student house of University of Science and Technology in Cracow. The scope of works includes, among others, reorganization and reconstruction of dormitories along with social and economic area and canteen. Modernization aims to increase comfort of life and improve technical status of the building. The value of contract realized by South Region Mostostal Warszawa amounts to PLN 23 mln gross.

On October 20, 2014, ZUS (the Social Insurance Institution) signed a commencement letter with the Association for Safety in the Construction Industry that initiated cooperation between ZUS and the association beneficiaries in improving safety among small and medium-size companies – the subcontractors of large construction companies.

Topping-out ceremony has taken place in Cultural and Congress Hall in Jordanki in Toruń. It is a symbolic moment of the completion of roof construction at its heighst point. The realization of one of the bigest cultural investments of Touń is coming to an end. Soon, Toruń will boast one of the most modern concert hall’s in Poland. The general contractor of the investment worth PLN 157,97 mln gross is consortium: Mostostal Warszawa (leader) and Acciona Infraestructuras (partner).

The first in Poland and one of only a few such structures in Europe, the innovative FRP road bridge is being built under the Com-bridge research project. It also marks one of the largest (in terms of span length) structures of this type in the world. The project is being completed by the consortium led by Mostostal Warszawa SA in a cooperative effort with the Rzeszów University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology and Promost Consulting from Rzeszów.
