In a cooperative effort with Gazeta Wyborcza daily, we are issuing a "Specerownik – A Walking Guide to the Bridges of Warsaw" which will be published on May 21 as a special supplement to the newspaper's Thursday issue.
As one of the members and founders of the Agreement for Safety in the Construction Industry, Mostostal Warszawa is again actively involved in organising the nationwide social event "Safety Week at Polish Construction Sites". This year's educational session will be held between on May 18-24. During the event, Poland's 10 largest general contractors will join forces to improve safety and eliminate fatalities at national construction sites.

A symbolic topping-out ceremony, which took place on May 13 at the project site, was attended by the representatives of the Capital City Town Hall and General Contractor – Mostostal Warszawa.
As a prerequisite for completing the subsequent stages of the project, Mostostal Power Development – a special purpose vehicle of Mostostal Warszawa SA founded to complete power units 5 and 6 related construction works at the Opole Power Plant – has selected subcontractors to deliver steel structures for boiler, bunker and air heating system buildings. The contracted steel structure amounts to 29 000 tons and the gross value of the concluded agreements exceeds the PLN 230 million
Mostostal Warszawa has commissioned a new four-chamber 60 000 t grain warehouse at the Silesian Quay of the Gdynia Harbor. The project is valued at PLN 26 million and is aimed to improve competitiveness level of the Gdynia bulk goods terminal.
Works related to concreting a boiler building no. 5 foundation slab have come to an end at Power Units 5 and 6 construction site in Opole. These were preceded by preparatory works related to organizing and preparing the technology and curing methods in terms of thermal and water absorption properties.
A specially designed concrete mix supplied on a 24-hour basis by 6 concrete plants and 54 concrete mixers and Mostostal Warszawa's lab located at the construction site – these are the details of the recently initiated foundation slab concreting process for one of two boiler rooms, marking yet another stage of the Opole Power Plant rebuilding process.
Mostostal Warszawa will build a new police headquarters in Gdańsk. The scope of works covers general contractor works, including detailed design development. The project is scheduled for completion at the end of April 2017.
By the end of this year, Mostostal Warszawa will build a PLN 36-million Center for Applied Sciences in Chorzów as part of the Silesian Inter-University Center for Interdisciplinary Education and Research. On March 2 of this year, a foundation stone was laid for the project. The Consortium of Mostostal Warszawa (Leader) and Radscan Intervex Polska Sp. z o.o. (Partner) has built a turnkey system designed to recover heat from humid exhaust generated by a K6 biomass boiler at the Białystok Heat [&] Power Plant – a member of ENEA Wytwarzanie.
