Sieniawa Water Treatment Facility

The Sieniawa Water Treatment Facility is one of three facilities (apart from Iskrzynia and Szczepańcowa) that supply water to the residents of Krosno and its vicinity.

After modernisation, the water treatment facility for Krosno and the neighbouring areas has the capacity of 17,000 m3/d.

The basic objective of the investment is the adjustment of technological processes to constantly raised standards and provisions regulating the quality of potable water. After modernisation, the current parameters of treated water exceed current quality standards. The technological process is automated and monitored at individual stages. This allows for easier servicing by controlling the processes from the keyboard level. The manner of water disinfection has also changed. The applied chlorine dioxide is much more efficient and, at the same time, it does not have an unpleasant odour.
