Headquaters of Telewizja Polska in Warszawa
On 21 August this year, the company, acting as the leader of the consortium of Mostostal Warszawa S.A. - Acciona S.A. - Technoinstal Zakład Instalacji Sanitarnych i Budowlanych - Biuro Projektów Architektonicznych i Budowlanych A i B Sp. z o.o., entered into a contract with Zarząd Telewizji Polskiej S.A. to complete the implementation of the editorial office building (building B) in the TVP S.A. Centre at the intersection of Woronicza and Samochodowa Streets in Warsaw. The gross value of the contract amounts to PLN 92.95 million, and the deadline is 13 months.
The scope of work includes updating technical documentation, completion of construction of the building, including execution of all necessary installations - electrical, telecommunication and sanitary, providing furniture and equipment for rooms, and handing the building over into operation. The building comprises 13 storeys with a usable area covering 11,000 m2. The new building will house a large TV studio and offices for TVP 1, TVP 2, TVP Polonia and sports editing offices. What is more, the building provides offices for the board and management of the company as well as programme, advertising, international cooperation and trade, and marketing and promotion offices.
Mostostal Warszawa S.A. had already participated in the construction of the building, when in 2003/04 it was the contractor for the elevation. Then the scope of work included preparation of a detailed design, delivery and assembly of the facade of the building: glass and aluminium, stone, titanium-zinc sheet and the Alucobond system. The company installed a glass roof over the patio, skylights and did the roofing.
