Task Details 

The Central Waste Collection Facility (CWCF) will be a modern, dedicated site located within Kraków Airport, intended for the temporary storage of waste generated by airport infrastructure.

The investment includes the construction of a complex with an internal road system, a maneuvering yard with a weighbridge, a storage building with a shelter, and an office section. The CWCF will enable the safe and legally compliant storage of solid, liquid, and oversized waste, while also providing technical and environmental infrastructure, including a photovoltaic installation.

The new facility will organize the current waste management system at the airport and prepare the area for the future expansion of the terminal.

CWCF Specifications:

  • Storage area – total approx. 480 m², including:

    • solid waste storage: 400 m²

    • liquid waste storage: 40 m²

    • oversized waste storage: 40 m²

  • Office area – 24 m²

  • One entry zone with a barrier gate and waste quantity control (1 weighbridge), and one maneuvering yard for access to all storage facilities

  • Parking spaces for technical services

  • Photovoltaic installation
