Training complex in Łask

Mostostal Warszawa has completed construction of a sports and training complex in the area of the military airport in Łask.

Mostostal Warszawa completed the contract for the 12th Field Air Division. Construction of the sports complex in the area of the military airport in Łask lasted 2.5 years. The new sports facilities for service personnel include: sports hall with a swimming pool, sports stadium with an athletics tracks and stands, volleyball and basketball courts, tennis courts and a pentathlon track.

The sports and training complex in Łask is the most modern sports facility of the Polish army, used by the staff of the 32nd Airbase and NATO forces. The sports hall offers facilities for playing handball, basketball and volleyball matches; it has a surface area of 1,600 m² and a height of 12 m. There are 152 seats in the stand. The span of the roof over the hall with supporting beams of glued timber is 40 metres. The swimming pool building encompasses a pool with a size of 12.5 m x 25 m, seats for 116 people, sanitary facilities and cloakrooms. Two one-storey buildings with two gyms, a martial arts rooms, squash courts and biological regeneration premises (wet and dry sauna) adjoin the sports hall building. Technical facilities are located on the ground floor of the swimming pool building, under the swimming pool. They include oil boiler rooms with 80,000 L of oil storage, a ventilation room and a swimming pool technical room.


All buildings are linked via corridors,a main hall and five staircases. The total surface area of the facility amounts to 6,545 m².

As part of the job, roads, parking spaces, pavements and accompanying technical infrastructure were also built.
