Modernization of the bus depot in Tychy

On April 8, 2019, Mostostal Warszawa concluded with the Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji Miejskiej in Tychy a contract for the modernization of a bus depot. The contract value is PLN 58.2 million gross.

As part of the project, Mostostal Warszawa reconstructed the bus depot. Works included sanitary, rain and water supply installations, power supply facility for trolleybuses, road system, as well as CNG gas supply system for charging stations. The task also included the reconstruction of the existing repair facility by, among others, creation of 27 vehicle service stations (11 equipped with service ducts), electric and electronic workshops, office and social rooms, as well as extension of the entrance hall with a staircase and an elevator section. After reconstruction, the area accommodates 166 buses, trolleybuses and minibuses.

The modernization of the bus depot is part of the EU project worth 164 million PLN, which assumes the development of public transport in Tychy. As part of the project, the city is to purchase over fifty CNG buses, microbuses, electrobuses, service vehicles and technical emergency buses, as well as rebuild the technical depot of the bus depot.

Payment terms: 30 days from the date of invoice issued and submitted to the Employer,
The warranty period is - 60 months for construction works, 36 months for delivery, as counted from the final acceptance date,
Due performance security: 10% of the contract value PLN 5.82 million gross 10% of the total price specified in the Offer.
