Quantum Optics Centre
Modern centre for physicists in Toruń amounts to 1 900 square meters of surface. There are located five laboratories: optical manipulation and detecting nanostructures, optical nanomaterial characterization, ultra-sensitive and ultrafast spectroscopy, optical medical imaging room, quantum photonics laboratory and computer modelling room.
The interior of the building contains also auditorium for 100 seats and two seminar rooms for 40 and 30 people.
Quantum Optics Centre in Toruń is the most modern facility this kind in Poland.
The agreement was signed 25th June 2009.
Regional Development Division was responsible for the realization of the project.
