Construction of new Operating Suite with the Anaesthetics and Intensive Care unit and Central Sterilisation in the Vovivodeship Hospital in Elbląg

Mostostal Warszawa constructed another building for the Voivodeship Hospital in Elbląg.

New building is housing operation suite, Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, central sterilisation room. The object consists of three above ground floors and one below ground level. It is also adapted for the needs of the people with disabilities.

Department Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care accomodate two rooms with beds (five beds in each) with internal observation points and two single rooms. On the first floor there are: operation suite with 8 operating rooms with and separate changing rooms for surgeons, nurses and other hospital staff.

The works of Mostostal Warszawa encompassed also internal installations such as: medical gas installation, central heating, process heat and process steam), ventilation and air-conditioning, water and sewage system, district heating substation, teletechnical, electrical installations and switchboards. Additionally, we equipped building in medical devices such as for example: surgical lamps, anaestethic and surgical columns and ceiling units.

We used more than 4,5 m3 of concrete and nearly 500 t of reinforced steel to construct the building. Networks and connections (sanitary, rainwater, water, drainage, oxygene networks and heat) reached almost 1 300 m of longitud and sanitary and rain water are almost 7 m deep.
