As part of the task, Mostostal Warszawa will build a key part of the gas and steam block investment in Synthos Dwory. Within the scope of the contract, Mostostal Warszawa will design, build and launch an installation consisting of a heat recovery boiler and the necessary accompanying energy infrastructure, among others thermal and technological, installation, fire protection, electricity and I&C. In addition to the technology provided, Mostostal Warszawa will design and build a complete set of necessary buildings, underground networks and installations, roads and squares included in the investment, and will also build a gas turbine delivered by Ansaldo Energia. The steam capacity of the heat recovery boiler will be approximately 140 t/h. Thanks to the investment, Synthos will significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions related to the production of heat and electricity for the needs of chemical installations. The newly built gas turbine will also provide additional production of electricity sent to the national grid and external entities supplied from the Synthos distribution network.
The main provisions of the contract:
• Value of the contract: a two-currency contract for PLN 315.01 million (gross) and EUR 6.77 million (gross)
• Completion date: 30 months from signing the contract.
• Payment term: 30 days.
• Warranty periods: "basic warranty period" is 24 months as a quality warranty for physical defects of the boiler block and gas turbine set; "Extended warranty period" is 60 months under the quality guarantee and warranty for physical defects, incl. building structures, foundations, chemical-resistant coverings, anti-corrosion, heat-resistant and fire-resistant protection, thermal and acoustic insulation and other elements.
• Performance bond: in the form of a bank guarantee, 10% of the net contract value.
