Golden Compasses – a symbol of quality and innovation
The Golden Compasses Award has long been one of the most important industry distinctions in Poland. It is granted to projects that stand out for their innovative technical solutions, pro-environmental approach, functionality, and positive impact on the surrounding area. It is awarded to companies that not only carry out investments according to the highest standards, but also actively set new directions for market development.
For Mostostal Warszawa, this is yet another confirmation of our consistent pursuit of quality and responsible construction. In the past, the company has also received Golden Compasses for revitalization and pro-environmental projects.
Awarded facility: a modern space for the academic community
The construction of the new building of the University of Warsaw’s Faculty of Psychology, completed in September this year, was a project demanding both structurally and organizationally. The building was erected in the heart of Warsaw’s Ochota district, creating a modern and comfortable space tailored to the needs of students, staff, and users of specialized laboratories.
One of the greatest implementation challenges was the complex architectural concrete framework, created thanks to the manual preparation of over 2,800 unique elements. This solution required the utmost precision and illustrates the high technical sophistication of the entire project.

Ecological technologies at the core of the project
In line with the principles of sustainable development, the building has been equipped with a range of environmentally friendly solutions, including:
- a 25 kW photovoltaic installation,
- an extensive geothermal system based on 145 boreholes approximately 90 meters deep,
- modern energy recovery and water optimization systems.

The building is currently undergoing BREEAM certification at the Very Good level, which will confirm its high energy efficiency and environmental performance.

The 2025 Golden Compasses Award further underscores the significance and quality of this investment. It is a success for the entire Mostostal Warszawa team and proof that thanks to our competence, collaboration, and dedication, we create facilities that will serve future generations. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to the completion of this project.
