Construction of the Rędzin Bridge in Wrocław

The Rędzin Bridge in Wrocław occupies the 19th place in the world in the category of the largest bridges suspended to one pylon. It is the highest and longest bridge in Poland. It was made from 180,000 tonnes of steel and 110,000 m³ of concrete.

The bottom of the structure rises to a height of about 15 m above the level of the highest navigable water of the river.

The superstructure of the bridge consists of two separate structures, each for a single carriageway of the motorway, with a width of 19.24 m for each carriageway (three lanes in each direction + one emergency lane).
