The ceremony was attended, among others, by Miłosz Stec, president of PKM Tychy and Maciej Gramatyka, deputy president of Tychy. Mostostal Warszawa was represented by Marcin Sierpowski, Director of the Western Area and Rafał Kuraj, Director of the Contract Group.

- As part of the task, we modernized the depot and adapted it to the increased, environmentally friendly rolling stock. We are glad that we were able to contribute to the development of public transport in Tychy in this way. It is another important investment completed by us in this city, after the Aqua Park and the Municipal Stadium. This confirms that Mostostal Warszawa is a trustworthy partner - says Marcin Sierpowski.

- The investment was carried out without any problems. Our team worked with full commitment, for which I am very grateful – says Rafał Kuraj.

The works included, among others sanitary, rainwater and water supply installations, traction network for trolleybuses, road system, as well as a CNG gas supply system to charging stations. The repair hall was also rebuilt through, inter alia, creation of 27 vehicle service stations (11 equipped with ducts), electrical and electronic workshops, office and social rooms, and the addition of an entrance hall with a staircase and elevator riser. After the reconstruction, the area will accommodate 166 buses, trolleybuses and minibuses. The value of the contract with Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji Miejskiej in Tychy amounted to slightly over PLN 59 million gross. Click to read more about the investment.
