We are introducing the target traffic organization on the Morawica bypass
On January 27, the target traffic organization was introduced on the Morawica and Wola Morawicka bypass under construction along the national road number 73. The investment is being carried out by a consortium of Mostostal Warszawa, Drogomex and Masfalt.
From August 2020, drivers could use the eastern road. From now on, there is also a second road, leading towards Kielce. The traffic lights at four intersections with local roads were also turned on.
- After more than 3 years of hard work, we are putting into use a four-kilometer section of the national road No. 73 three months before the contractual deadline. The task was very complicated in terms of logistics, because there was traffic on one of the roadways all the time, and each subsequent stage of construction required the introduction of temporary traffic organization. I would like to thank the whole team implementing the investment for the hard work that was put in to commission both roadways of the bypass – says Tomasz Adamczyk, Contract Manager.
In addition to the GP dual carriageway (main road with accelerated traffic) and four intersections with traffic lights, a footbridge was built in Bilcza and access roads. Acoustic screens were also made to improve the comfort of residents. The necessary infrastructure related to the road was also rebuilt. The contractual completion date for the investment is April 2022. Click to read more about the investment.
