We have started the construction of the S11 Zegrze Pomorskie-Kłanino section
On July 20, the first shovel ceremony took place at the construction site of the S11 expressway from Koszalin to Bobolice. The General Contractor of one of the sections of this investment, Zegrze Pomorskie-Kłanino, is Mostostal Warszawa.
The event included the commencement of construction of a nearly 50-kilometer section from Koszalin to Bobolice. It has been divided into three parts: Koszalin-Zegrze Pomorskie, Zegrze Pomorskie-Kłanino (this section is implemented by Mostostal Warszawa) and Kłanino-Bobolice. The ceremony was attended by, among others: Minister of Infrastructure Andrzej Adamczyk, Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment Małgorzata Golińska, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Paweł Szefernaker, West Pomeranian Voivode Zbigniew Bogucki, Director of the Szczecin branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways Łukasz Lendner, as well as associated with parliamentarians in the region.
- The S11 section is another strategic investment that Mostostal Warszawa is implementing for the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways. We are building a road, but also numerous engineering structures: flyovers, bridges, viaducts, environmental protection and traffic safety devices. Thanks to our experience and a team of experienced engineers, we can guarantee efficient implementation as well as full commitment – says Jorge Calabuig Ferre, Vice-President of the Management Board of Mostostal Warszawa.
The S11 road will directly connect Central Pomerania with Silesia via Wielkopolska. The route of the section implemented by Mostostal Warszawa runs largely through forested areas. The road runs south of the airport in Zegrze Pomorskie, then north of the villages of Krępa and Dargiń. South of the village of Kłanino, the road approaches today's DK11. There will be a road junction where this section ends. In the area of Dargiń, the construction of a Travelers Service Area (MOP cat. I) is planned. The S11 on this passage runs entirely on a new pass.
