This year’s Construction Industry Holiday celebrated on 8 October was quite exceptional to Mostostal Warszawa, and especially to the distinguished group of Mostostal’s employees.

To celebrate the commencement of the construction of the new water treatment plant in the Central Pipeline Plant (ZWC) on the 1 October 2008 the laying of the foundation stone of the investment project took place at 81 Koszykowa St.

On 29 September 2008, Jarosław Popiołek, President of Mostostal Warszawa, inaugurated the international seminar on Fibre Reinforced Polymer Composite bridges. The conference hosted by Mostostal and Acciona Infrastruktura was organized under the European Future Bridge project.

On September 29, Jarosław Popiołek, CEO of Mostostal Warszawa, launched an international seminar devoted to the construction of polymer composite bridges. The conference hosted by Mostostal and Acciona Infrastruktura was organised as part of the Future-Bridge project.

On 16 September, Mostostal Warszawa signed a contract with Piaseczno County authorities for the reconstruction the section of Wojska Polskiego St. from Słoneczna St. to Żwirowa St. Works are scheduled for completion at the end of October 2008.

Similarly as last year, Mostostal Warszawa coorganized the 2nd National Historical and Military Parade of the Polish Nation “Polonia Semper Invicta”, which took place on 21 September 2008 on the Warsaw’s Praga district.

Mostostal Warszawa supported “Pasmo” weekly in organizing “Mokotów’s Farewell to Summer” which took place on 21 September 2008 on Armii Krajowej “Granat” Sq. in Warsaw.

In September 2008, the Warsaw based Mostostal Warszawa’s Division signed two prestigious contracts for the total amount of almost PLN 200m. Mostostal Warszawa will erect apartment buildings in the Wola and Wilanów districts of Warsaw.

Three weeks ahead of time, Mostostal Warszawa completed construction design and obtained construction permit for the construction of dissolved air flotation station, which will be located within the premises of the Northern Pipeline Plant in Wieliszów. Investor handed over the construction site to the company on 10 September 2008.

Mostostal has completed the 1st stage of the extension of the Central Pipeline Plant, which comprised of demolition of existing filters of reinforced concrete structure. The company has also completed design works.

On 3 August 2008, Mostostal Warszawa participated on the 22nd “Ekomilitaris” International Scientific and Technical Conference organized in Zakopane by Military Technical Academy.
