We have submitted an application for a road investment implementation decision (ZRID) for the S8 Niemcza–Ząbkowice Śląskie section

13 November 2025

I would like to thank my Supervisor and the Members of the Team under my direction, whose support, commitment, precision, and sense of responsibility made it possible to efficiently and on time prepare and submit the construction design along with the complete set of required documents. I would also like to especially thank our Design Team and the Designers cooperating with Mostostal Warszawa S.A. We are currently preparing the technical and detailed design and awaiting the issuance of the ZRID decision, which will allow us to begin the physical phase of construction work — says Krzysztof Michalak, Project Director for the S8 Niemcza–Ząbkowice Śląskie section.

S8 Niemcza–Ząbkowice Śląskie

The new section of the S8 will be a dual carriageway express road with two lanes in each direction and an emergency lane. The route will run along a new alignment through the municipalities of Niemcza and Ząbkowice Śląskie. As part of the project, one road interchange will be constructed — Ząbkowice Śląskie North (connecting with National Road 8 and a district road). In addition, 19 engineering structures will be built, including three structures over the main route, seven along it, and nine culverts.

Another step in infrastructure development

The construction of the Niemcza–Ząbkowice Śląskie section is part of a larger project to expand the S8 expressway between Wrocław and Bardo, divided into six sections with a total length of 64 km. Mostostal Warszawa is contributing to the development of this key route, which will ultimately connect Wrocław with Kłodzko and the Czech border, significantly improving regional transport links.

Completion of the works is planned for the fourth quarter of 2028.
