- The reconstruction in the locomotive hall is another task, following the general renovation of the Gdańsk Główny PKP Station, which we have completed in the railway construction sector. We emphasize our presence in this market segment, as well as in Lower Silesia, where we are implementing a number of investments - said Jorge Calabuig Ferre, Vice President of the Management Board of Mostostal Warszawa.

- The construction was particularly demanding in terms of organization and technology, as we carried it out in a facility that plays an important role in the nationwide railway system and operates continuously. Careful coordination of works allowed us to complete the task with logistics security and guaranteeing the highest safety standards - added the Vice President of the Management Board of Mostostal Warszawa.

As part of the task, Mostostal Warszawa reconstructed inspection channels and floors in the locomotive hall at Wrocław Główny station. The aim of the investment is to improve the standard of rolling stock maintenance and ergonomics of work. After the reconstruction, the water management of the facility will also be improved.

Continuation of cooperation

The reconstruction within the locomotive depot area is one of the elements of the project to modernize the parking station in the capital of Lower Silesia. Further investments, including the construction of a warehouse-office building, a cargo loading and unloading area, a parking lot in the vicinity of the wagon hall, and an internal road in the vicinity of the locomotive hall, will also be carried out by Mostostal Warszawa.

By 2030, PKP Intercity will have 20 parking stations and railway sidings. Modern technical facilities aim to reduce the negative impact on the environment by reducing emissions, noise, and harmful substances. Mostostal Warszawa is an active part of these changes.
