„Topping out” ceremony on the construction of a rehabilitation clinic in Warsaw!

04 May 2020

On April 30 together with the investor - Orpea Polska - we have hung out a panicle on the construction of a rehabilitation clinic in Warsaw.

The construction that we are implementing for Orpea Polska is a contract in the segment of investments that are particularly socially significant: healthcare. The more I am glad that we are working with him successfully, as evidenced by the finished construction on which we could hang the perch. As you can see, Mostostal Warszawa is an efficient partner, well prepared for current challenges - said Jorge Calabuig Ferre, Vice President of Mostostal Warszawa.

The „topping out” ceremony, which took place in non-standard conditions (we encourage you to participate in the remote mode and watch the video coverage) was attended by Beata Leszczyńska, President of Orpea Polska. - A reliable partner, Mostostal Warszawa, has survived all difficulties and is implementing this project on time - she says.

The complex of health care buildings that Mostostal Warszawa builds is a hospital with a rehabilitation profile and a building with leisure accommodation services along with technical rooms and an underground garage, as well as technical maintenance buildings, i.e. a transformer station, power generator station and solid waste rooms. Click to read more about the investment.

At the end of April this year Mostostal Warszawa organized a joint campaign "Visits from a lift", thanks to which the residents of a nursing home for seniors could meet their families. Click to read more.

ORPEA Polska has been operating since 2001 and is a leader in stationary long-term care. It offers nearly 1,000 places in modern nursing homes for seniors (under the MEDI-system and ORPEA Rezydencje brand) and clinics specializing in neurological, systemic and cardiac rehabilitation (under the MEDI-system brand and CLINEA Clinics). Houses and clinics are located in Mazowsze, Chorzów and Wrocław, where apart from nursing home there are Apartments for Seniors (assisted living formula). Seniors live in their homes who, due to their age and health condition, require daily support and round-the-clock care, as well as people who have finished their hospital stay after a disease or surgery, but are not yet ready to function independently. Among those under care there are also people affected by the so-called dementia, mainly in the course of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. A team of over 750 people (nurses and carers, physiotherapists, doctors, occupational therapists, speech therapists and psychologists, auxiliary and administrative staff) cares for the health and safety of residents and patients. ORPEA Polska offers care in rehabilitation wards and in care and treatment centers under the National Health Fund or in a commercial form. The company is part of the largest network of ORPEA nursing homes and rehabilitation clinics in Europe, present in the industry since 1989 with a potential of nearly 94,000 places (over 930 facilities) in 12 European countries, as well as in Brazil, China, Chile and Uruguay.
