The event was attended by Jacek Jaskowiak, Mayor of the City of Poznan, Mariusz Wisniewski, Deputy Mayor, and Justyna Litka, President of the Management Board of Poznan City Investments. Mostostal Warszawa was represented by Marcin Sierpowski, Western Area Director.

- We are building the school in accordance with the Environmental Protection Programme for the City of Poznań.  This imposes additional environmental protection requirements on us. We value this approach as being in line with Mostostal Warszawa's objectives," said Marcin Sierpowski. - By carrying out the task, we support the Poznań labour market.  Most of our team comes from Poznań and we use local companies in the construction process. We are present in Poznań, we have a permanent Western Area Office.

Work on the site is already underway. Earthworks will soon be completed. The first floor of the building structure is also being built. Construction is progressing according to the planned schedule.

Contract details

The scope of the contract includes the construction of a three-storey building with a floor area of over 10,000 square metres. The body of the building, designed in the shape of the letter Y, consists of a central part with a main hall, a gymnasium with cloakrooms, a canteen with kitchen facilities, a library, a common room and administrative rooms.

Sports pitches will be created next to the facility, as well as two playgrounds. Greenery in the form of trees and shrubs will be added, as well as street furniture and lighting.

Pedestrian and cycle paths will lead to the school, and special shelters will be provided for cyclists, with a charging area for small electromobility vehicles (bicycles, scooters, scooters).

The value of the contract is PLN 81.4 million gross.
