Company from Mostostal Warszawa Group with a contract worth over PLN 22 million
Mostostal Kielce, a company belonging to the Mostostal Warszawa Group, has signed a contract with the Municipal Road and Public Transport Authority in Bydgoszcz for the modernisation of a flyover in the course of Wojska Polskiego Street on Jana Pawła II Avenue. The gross contract value exceeds PLN 22 million.
The subject of the order is the design and demolition of the existing northern viaduct and the design and construction of a new viaduct in the course of Wojska Polskiego Street (district road No. 3034C) over Jana Pawła II Avenue (national road No. 5). According to the schedule of works, the Contractor plans to reach the stage of passability by the end of January 2022. By that time, vehicle traffic will be redirected to the south viaduct, which was modernised in 2017. All works are scheduled to be completed by the middle of next year.
- The signed contract is a testimony to the effective diversification of services that Mostostal Kielce presents within infrastructure construction. In addition to the construction of steel bridges we are developing a comprehensive range of investments, including design and the road, construction and installation industries. We already have experience in similar projects for public administration, such as the pedestrian and bicycle bridge to the Bolko Island in Opole, commissioned in 2020. We are glad that we will be able to modernise such an important crossing for the people of Bydgoszcz as the viaduct in Wyżyny. I am convinced that the effect of our work will serve residents for years – says Krzysztof Rusiecki, President of the Management Board of Mostostal Kielce.
