ZRID decision enables Mostostal Warszawa to start work and procedures related to the payment of compensation. New sections of road will run in the first half of 2025.

- The obtained ZIRD decision confirms that the infrastruccture projects implemented by out team of specialist ang engineers are of the highest quality – says Sławomir Barczak, Director od the Infrastructure Area at Mostostal Warszawa.

- Thanks to the ZRID decision, after the construction site will be handed over by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, we can immediately start construction works. Opatów bypass along the S74 expressway and national road No. 9

The bypass will run on the south-west side of Opatów, mostly along the new course. It will consist of a section of the GP-class dual carriageway (main accelerated traffic) with a length of approx. 5.1 km and a section of the two-way expressway S74 with a length of approx. 6.7 km. As part of the investment, two new junctions will be built: Opatów (on S74), Opatów I (on DK9), as well as engineering structures (flyovers, viaducts, bridges, animal crossings and culverts). It is planned to build access roads, environmental protection devices, including acoustic screens, infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists, lighting and drainage, and road safety devices.

The Opatów bypass will run through the communes of Opatów, Lipnik and Sadowie. The new road will free the city from transit traffic, improve the quality of life of its inhabitants as well as the safety and comfort of travelers. The bypass will constitute an important section of the planned S74 expressway, which will connect the Łódzkie, Świętokrzyskie and Podkarpackie voivodeships in the future.

Contract details:

• Contract value: PLN 403.66 million gross. 
• Completion date: 36 months.
• Payment deadline: 30 days from the date of receipt of the invoice.
• The maximum warranty period is 10 years.
• Performance bond: 10% of the contract value

North connector to the Opatów bypass

The northern connector will connect the Opatów junction of the national road No. 9 planned as part of the bypass with the national road No. 74 near Adamów. It will be a single carriageway of GP class (main road for accelerated traffic) with a length of about 3 km with engineering structures at three intersections with district roads. The task will also include the construction of access roads to connect the adjacent areas and two roundabouts.

The connector will complement the 12 km long Opatów bypass, also implemented by Mostostal Warszawa. Thanks to both investments, drivers traveling on the Kielce - Lublin, Radom - Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and Annopol - Kraśnik routes will not have to enter the city. • Completion date: 33 months, the winter periods from December 16 to March 15 are not included until the completion of the Works.
• Payment term: 30 days,
• Warranty period for performed works: up to 10 years,
• Performance bond: 10% of the offer price (gross price) in the form of a bank guarantee.
