In the scope of the agreement, Mostostal Warszawa is to modernize building no. 20 for the needs of 6th Military Economic Department and military unit in Redzikowo. At present, the building is not in use. It is composed of three stories. There are allocated residential, staff and office areas with a canteen. After modernisation and finishing all the necessary construction and installation works it will be fully adapted to meet those purposes. The scope of the work encompasses new façade of the building, exchange of roof covering, renovation of existing rooms, assembly of a new window and door woodwork as well as delivery of the equipment. Apart from this, the project also involves developing the surrounding area, including demolition of the buildings no. 21 and 22, construction of parking places together with paved surfaces, waste storage shed, openwork enclosure for refrigerating units, tree felling, and reconstruction of the service connections.

– In case of military orders, the contractor is bound to meet the most demanding criteria. Not every company can make a bidding offer. It must be entrusted with the necessary power and hold appropriate certificates and that is precisely what Mostostal Warszawa has. Northern Division fullfilled similar tasks in the past. In the recent years, we have acted as general contractor while rebuilding sports hall and indoor swimming pool in the military facility in Mrągowo and constructing garages with maneuver area in the military complex in Braniewo. Nevertheless, the task in Redzikowo is the most prestigious project considering the unit’s importance in the national defense policy – said Maciej Sasak, Director of Northern Division.

The Redzikowo military facility is recognized as a priority area for the Polish Military Forces. The operating unit is strategic for the defense of the country and further development of Polish Force Protection as well. The facility is under constant modernisation in order to meet the current military requirements.

For supervision and comprehensive service of the contract is responsible Northern Division directed by Maciej Sasak and team led by Robert Kiezik (Contract Manager) and Zbigniew Skonieczny (Site Manager).
