Mostostal Warszawa with another infrastructural contract. We will build an express road in the area of Ełk
On July 19, Mostostal Warszawa, as a member of consortion estabished also by Trakcja PRKiI and PEUiM Białystok, signed with General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways contract for the project and construction of the express road S61 Ełk Południe-Wysokie. The contract value exceeds PLN 685 million.
The road S61 Ełk Południe-Wysokie is a part of the largest infrastructural investments in Europe: Via Carpatia and Via Baltica. - S61 is a strategic investment not only for the region and the whole country. It can also be a very important on an international scale - says Jorge Calabuig Ferre, Vice President of the Management Board of Mostostal Warszawa.
As part of the investment, we will build more than 19 km of the road S61 (Ełk Południe-Wysokie) and more than 3 km of the road S16. Apart from building fragments of S61 and S16, the works will include reconstruction of existing roads, construction of engineering structures, pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure, switches, road safety devices and emergency crossings. In addition, there will be installed dewatering, telecommunications network, lighting and environmental protection devices.
- Our task, apart from construction works, also includes obtaining all permits necessary for design and implementation the investment - says Sławomir Barczak, Director of the Infrastructure Area at Mostostal Warszawa.
Date of signing the contract: July 19, 2018.
