Mostostal Warszawa to build swimming pool in Bydgoszcz
Northern Branch of Mostostal Warszawa signed a contract worth nearly PLN 25 million for construction of indoor swimming pool in Bydgoszcz. The three-storey building will be adjoining the Comprehensive Secondary School Complex no. 5 at Szarych Szeregów Street.
In the scope of the agreement, Mostostal Warszawa is to build the indoor swimming pool with connector building. Apart from this, construction work includes equipment, technical infrastructure, and landscaping. The gross contract value amounts to PLN 24 408 914.49. The decision to start construction at Kapuściska, a housing complex located in the southern part of the town, was taken due to the fact that it is one of the most densely populated areas. Mostostal Warszawa will build the first of four planned swimming pools in Bydgoszcz.
– New swimming pool at Szarych Szeregów will cover an area of 4 000 square meters. A wide range of water attractions including facilities such as a waterslide, massages, saunas, and jacuzzies are amongst its distinguishing features. The building will be also fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. For this purpose we are going to build a special driveway and interior lift. Further, comfort conditions will be also provided in changing rooms. People living in Kapuściska shall fully enjoy of all this in 2019 – says Maciej Sasak, Director of Northern Division Mostostal Warszawa.
Swimming pool in Bydgoszcz will be equipped with two basins, saunas with cold water showers and grandstands for 150 people including 105 seats for the audience and 48 for swimmers and coaches. Main swimming pool with six lanes will cover an area of over 312 square meters, while the recreation basin - 147 square meters. The swimming pool features offer gentle current of a river, waves, underwater massage, pearl massage and neck massage, geyser, two jacuzzies and a wading pool of 30 cm of depth with water mushroom. Outside the building will be placed 50-metre-long waterslide. Fitness room, gym, changing rooms and sanitary and utility facilities will be provided on the floor.
Northern Division of Mostostal Warszawa headed by Maciej Sasak is responsible for the proper performance of contract. Contract Manager was appointed Seweryn Mickiewicz.
