Mostostal Warszawa supporting the real estate market – Conference Project Investor

Mostostal Warszawa has sponsored the fourth edition of the conference Project Investor entitled ‘RE: Innovations – respond of the real estate market for the need of innovations’.  The meeting of investors and professionals from the construction industry and real estate sector was held on 1 December in Warsaw. 

Conference Project INVESTOR is one of the biggest events in the real estate market. It always attracts both commercial and residential developers and the most important figures on the market. The meeting presents itself a great opportunity to familiarize with the newest trends of the investment market in Poland and abroad. The competent panelists in the field are always invited to share their knowledge. This year the following speakers participated the discussion: Włodzimierz Stasiak – Vice president of BGK Properties, Michał Beim – Member of the Board of PKP S.A., prof. dr hab. inż. arch. Piotr Lorens – President of the Society of Polish Town Planners, dr inż. Ireneusz Marciniak – Director of the Institute of Electronic Materials Technology, Joanna Manikowska – Foreign Investment Department, Marcin Przyłębski – Director of Poznań Investor Service Office, Piotr Szczeblewski – President of the MODULO, Wiktor Doktór – President of the Board of Progressio Group, Bożena Wawrzyniak-Mańko – RKW Architects.

Mostostal Warszawa has been supporting development of the real estate market for many years. The company has been acting as general contractor of housing developments and office buildings across the country, lately e.g. for Ronson Development, Echo Investment and Henniger Investment. Apart from such projects, Department of Research and Development at Mostostal Warszawa is promoting modern technologies in the construction industry. Following the rules of sustainable development was developed a project of Multi-Dwelling Building 2030 resulting in construction of the multifamily, energy efficient building in Żoliborz district in Warsaw. Our R[&]D team is also in the middle of developing the first world’s thermochemical battery. It is destined to be applied in the housing construction and surely will improve significantly the efficiency of residential buildings for start. The newest trends and opinions on the market investigated for Mostostal: Tomasz Okoń, Commercial Director of the Central Division and Juliusz Żach, Head of Research and Development.

Conference topics were varied and were linked to the company’s activities. Furthermore, it paved a way to an interesting discussion between participants, investors, and specialists in the field. The content involved three main themes: construction and real estate sector driving the innovativeness of Polish economy, innovative construction and innovative city – respond of the sector to the challenges related with sustainable urbanization. The discussion encompassed also such issues as e.g. barriers in the development of innovations, possibilities of attracting R[&]D investors, potential of Polish start-up’s, innovations in the construction (for example possible use of graphene, nanofibers and aerogels) and use of innovative solutions as a remedy for the chaotic building arrangement in the urban area.

In the meeting took place a debate of experts and presentation of the latest reports. The event has been organized since 2013 in Poznań. The fourth edition of the conference was held in Warsaw for the first time.
