Mostostal Warszawa signs contract for reconstruction of Wrocław Główny Railway Siding
On July 18, 2025, Mostostal Warszawa signed a contract with PKP Intercity for the execution of construction works related to the reconstruction of the track layout and the construction of a 3 kV DC overhead contact line on the Wrocław Główny railway siding. The net value of the contract is PLN 4,300,000.

Scope of Work
The scope of the contract includes, among others:
- Construction and reconstruction of tracks in the locomotive depot area, including:
- construction of two new entry tracks to the Wrocław Główny locomotive depot on a new route,
- reconstruction of the existing track No. 647 (used for refueling PKP Intercity locomotives), - Construction of a new 3 kV DC overhead contact line,
- Modernization of technical infrastructure, including:
- improving the reliability of equipment power supply,
- upgrading the lighting of switch heads and marshalling/loading areas,
- reducing the impact of snowfall on switch operation,
- enhancing safety at railway crossings, - Implementation of modern technological solutions to improve the reliability and safety of the railway system.
This project is a significant element in the modernization of PKP Intercity's technical facilities in Wrocław and will contribute to the continued development of railway infrastructure in the region.
The investment is scheduled for completion within 12 months from the date of contract signing.
