Mostostal Warszawa signed a new contract
South Branch of Mostostal Warszawa under the direction of Janusz Stanaszek signed contract for works on the objects of water treatment plant (WTP) in Opole. Investment realizes Instal Warszawa SA on behalf of PGE Górnictwo i Energia Konwecjonalna (Polish Energy Group Mining and Conventional Energy) Opole Power Station Branch. Mostostal Warszawa will conduct subcontractory works worth PLN 29.3 mln.
As part of the contract concluded, Mostostal Warszawa will perform reinforced concrete works in existing raw construction and will realize delivery and montage of precast columns and ceiling slabs of the upper floors. In addition, Mostostal Warszawa is responsible for masonry walls, building insulation and roofing of WTP.
The works will be carried out mainly in winter, under the leadership of Jacek Mglej, in three objects (coagulation and filtration station with slot system, rapid filters station and makeup water pumping station). The completion date was foreseen for June 2016.
Ultimately, the new water treatment plant will supply approx. 180 000 m3 of water to a power plant Opole (to both operating power blocks and those just emerging). This is the amount corresponding to daily water purfication supplied by Varsavian water main. The station is scheduled for completion in May 2018.
