Mostostal Warszawa shares its R&D experience

28 August 2019

On 28 August 2019, Błażej Rudzki from the Research and Development Department of Mostostal Warszawa presented the results of the "HIT2GAP" (Highly Innovative building control Tools Tackling the energy performance GAP) project.

The "HIT2GAP" project, funded under Horizon 2020, addresses the issue in the lack of convergence between the building's actual energy efficiency and design concept. The goal of the HIT2GAP project is to create new tools for monitoring and managing building systems based on advanced data processing techniques. This will allow to understand work characteristics of a given object in order to reduce the discrepancy between the planned and actual energy efficiency. The project was created around an open source energy management platform - called BEMServer - which allows control over energy consumption in the building and better and more precise understanding of users’ needs in order to reduce or even eliminate the "energy gap". The platform offers a number of plug-in modules for the interpretation of building data and their presentation in a friendly manner adapted to a wide audience. Click to read more about the "HIT2GAP" project.

The presentation by Błażej Rudzki took place as part of the Conference "Facility [&] Property Management - a safe and economical property", whose aim was to present the latest trends in the field of property management.
