02 December 2025

Mostostal Warszawa S.A. is consistently strengthening its presence in the airport infrastructure sector. On 2 December 2025, we signed another contract with John Paul II International Airport Kraków–Balice Ltd., covering the implementation of the investment task titled “Technical Building – Water Treatment Station” in the “Design and Build” formula. The contract value amounts to PLN 7,222,755.75 net.

- The launch of the Water Treatment Station project is another undertaking carried out as part of our solid and consistent cooperation with Kraków Airport. Work conducted at an operating airport requires the highest precision, coordination, and experience. Our team has repeatedly proven that it can successfully handle tasks in such a demanding environment. The new investment will strengthen the airport's technical infrastructure and support its further development - says Maciej Sasak, Director of the Eastern Region at Mostostal Warszawa S.A.

Scope of the investment

The contract covers comprehensive design and construction works under a general contracting system, including:

  • construction of a new Water Treatment Station building along with potable water tanks,
  • reconstruction and relocation of the existing technical infrastructure necessary for servicing the station and tanks,
  • removal of collisions with existing airport infrastructure,
  • full development of the area surrounding the facility.

The investment is a significant component of the airport’s technical infrastructure, supporting an increase in its operational capacity.

Continued cooperation with Kraków Airport

The signing of this contract is part of the long-standing cooperation between Mostostal Warszawa S.A. and Kraków Airport, within which numerous infrastructure projects have been delivered:

  • Cargo Terminal at Kraków Airport – completed in May 2025, with a gross value of PLN 99.9 million, a floor area of 5,600 m², and a throughput of 8,000 tonnes per year. The facility has significantly enhanced the airport’s operational capabilities in cargo handling.

Additional investments currently underway include:

  • reconstruction of the former Cargo terminal for the needs of the Pre-Boarding Zone Non-Schengen (contract signed in July 2025, value: PLN 28,619,566.46 gross),
