Mostostal Warszawa Reaches First Million Tons of Asphalt Mix Production
Mostostal Warszawa has surpassed its first million tons of asphalt mix produced at its asphalt plants. This achievement reflects the company's intensive efforts and commitment to executing strategic road infrastructure projects across Poland.
- Reaching one million tons of asphalt mix production is a testament to the efficiency and reliability of our plants. It is also the result of the hard work of our entire team, who ensure the highest quality of our products and the efficiency of our logistics every day. We are investing in modern technologies that allow us to minimize our environmental impact while delivering products that meet the highest standards - said Piotr Niemiec, Head of the Equipment and Transport Department at Mostostal Warszawa.
Plants and Key Projects
Asphalt mix production was carried out at several locations, supporting strategic infrastructure investments across the country. The plants were located at:
- Stalowa Wola – supporting the construction of the Stalowa Wola and Nisko bypass, as well as the S-19 Nisko - Podgórze expressway section, which has improved regional connectivity and increased safety on national roads 77 and 19.
- Bobolice – supporting the construction of the S11 expressway section, one of the key routes in the region.
- Zakroczym – supporting the construction of the S7 expressway section, including two interchanges, rest areas, and additional and service road networks.
- Piskrzyn – supporting the construction of the Opatów Bypass section, including a key connector, one of the major investments in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
With efficient logistics and effective production process management, Mostostal Warszawa can deliver critical infrastructure projects on time, significantly improving the quality and safety of travel on Polish roads.
Modern Technologies and Environmental Impact Reduction
Mostostal Warszawa employs advanced technological solutions at its plants, reducing the environmental footprint of production. The processes operate in a closed loop, with no smoke emissions – the installations produce only water vapor and exhaust gases in line with environmental standards.
The plants use lignite dust as fuel, a high-energy fuel that helps reduce emissions into the atmosphere.
Continued Investment and Regional Development
Mostostal Warszawa not only builds modern roads but also supports the economic development of the regions in which it operates. Thanks to these investments, residents of many towns benefit from improved connectivity, while local businesses gain greater growth opportunities.
Achieving one million tons of production is a significant milestone for Mostostal Warszawa in delivering strategic road projects in Poland, leveraging its own equipment and workforce potential.
Currently, the Equipment Department of Mostostal Warszawa comprises a team of 120 people, operating three asphalt plants and 85 equipment and transport units.
