Mostostal Warszawa partner of the European Economic Congress in Katowice
The congress in Katowice will be held on the 10-12th May. The upcoming event will include the three-day series of debates, over 100 sessions and will be attended by nearly 700 speakers from all over the world. The most important representatives of business, chairmen of the leading Polish companies, politicians and experts within the country and from abroad will be gathered in the International Congress Centre in Katowice.
Mostostal Warszawa has become a partner of the event and partner of the session dedicated to the construction industry. At the invitation of the organisers of the ninth edition of the EEC, the congress will be visiting: Andrzej Goławski, President of the Management Board, Sławomir Barczak, Director of Infrastructure Division and Juliusz Żach, Head of Research and Development at Mostostal Warszawa.
Apart from that Mostostal Warszawa will contribute to two debates. President Andrzej Goławski will take an active part in the discussion regarding Polish construction industry, possibilities of its development and relationship between contracting entity and contractor. Furthermore, experts on the construction industry including Tomasz Żuchowski, undersecretary of state and vice ministry of infrastructure and construction as well as presidents of the boards of the biggest construction companies in Poland will be attending the debate that will be held on 10th May. A day later, representatives of the enterprises and institutions caring for innovations and research and development activities will be discussing connections between science and industry, integration of both, and the role of the National Institute of Technology. In the group of experts, alongside such companies as KGHM Polska Miedź SA, PKN ORLEN SA, University of Science and Technology in Krakow will be speaking Juliusz Żach, Head of Research and Development at Mostostal Warszawa.
– Participation in the EEC allows to exchange opinions and to find out what will be going on the investment market.The most reasonable opinions, well-recognised experts influencing the industry – this is why it is worth to make an appearance in Katowice. This year’ congress agenda covers several topics on the national energy system and the capacity market. Heating and gas industry will be also discussed. These are really interesting themes for us, especially considering the fact that we want to develop activities of Mostostal Warszawa in the energy industry– stated Andrzej Goławski, President of the Management Board of Mostostal Warszawa.

European Economic Congress is organised since 2009. It is the most important business event in Central Europe.
