The awards were presented during the Gala of the Construction of Year 2015 which took place on 24 May this year in the Building of the Polish Federation of Engineering Associations. Mostostal Warszawa was the great winner of this year’s edition of the contest. It won two awards of the I grade, two awards of II grade and one award of I grade.

Awarded prizes:

• The title of the “Construction of the Year” and the award of I grade in the category of “Public Educational Facilities” was received by the AGH Centre of Energy. The award was collected by the Contract Director Artur Sikora and Mariusz Rudnik – the Site Manager.
• The title of the “Construction of the Year” and the award of I grade in the category of “Individually Assesed Construction Facilities” was received by the Elbląg Canal. The award was collected by the Director of the North Branch of Mostostal Warszawa – Maciej Sasak and Paweł Półtorak, Site Manager.
• The title of the “Construction of the Year” and the award of II grade in the category of “Municipal Facilities and Transport” was received by the Szymany Airport. The award was collected by the Contract Manager Paweł Stefanik.
• The title of the “Construction of the Year” and the award of II grade in the category of “Public Utility Facilities” was received by the Jordanki Cultural and Congress Centre. The award was collected by the Contract Director - Arkadiusz Biniek, Contract Manager – Robert Kiezik.
• The title of the “Construction of the Year” and the award of III grade in the category of “Public Utility Facilities” was received by the Tychy Stadium. The award was collected by the Director of the South Branch – Janusz Stanaszek, and the Contract Director – Rafał Kuraj.

For years we have been introducing innovations which were successfully adopted in the sector. The awards we receive drive our motivation to further development and improving our results. „Construction of the Year” contest has been organized for 26 years with contribution of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction and the General Office of Building Control, and it has since attracted the interest of investors, developers and contractors. It is one of the most prestigious reviews of achievements of the Polish building sector. The contest is a chance for authors of the largest and most interesting projects in Poland – investors, contractors and designers.
