Mostostal Warszawa involved in tree planting campaign

23 July 2024

In the spring of 2024, Mostostal Warszawa joined the nationwide Posadzimy.pl campaign, contributing to the restoration of Polish forests.

Our first 400 trees are already growing, and more are set for the autumn edition of the campaign. This initiative allows us to have a tangible impact on increasing the number of trees in Poland.

This spring, we joined the ranks of companies uniting to rebuild Polish forests. The Spring 2024 campaign resulted in the planting of 65,180 trees across five locations in different parts of Poland. Our collective forest will grow in Gostynin County, Tuchola County, Poznań County, Lubaczów County, and the Żary Municipality.

Among them was the first batch of trees funded by Mostostal Warszawa.

All saplings funded by companies in the spring edition have been planted, so it's time for a brief summary.

Spring 2024 Campaign Results

This year's campaign focused on forest areas damaged by natural factors and helped reclaim land that was previously used for purposes like landfills.

Where Exactly Did the Spring Trees Go?

  • Gostynin County
  • Tuchola County
  • Poznań County
  • Lubaczów County
  • Żary Municipality

In each of these locations, the work went smoothly, and local foresters did an excellent job.

Spring Campaign in Numbers:

  • In the five aforementioned counties, a total of 95,100 trees were planted this spring. We contributed an initial 400 new trees and have plans for much more.
  • Species planted include: pine, birch, pedunculate oak, larch, maple, elm, beech, and biocenotic species.
  • A total of 11.315 hectares of land were restored, which is nearly 16 full-size football fields.

And this is not the end of our green story; more trees are waiting for the autumn edition of the campaign.
