Mostostal Warszawa has completed the investment project involving the design and construction of the northern connector to the Opatów bypass. The contract value amounted to PLN 57.51 million gross.

- The construction of the northern connector was designed and executed in accordance with applicable technical standards and the investor's requirements. It is a vital element of the region's transport system, which – together with the Opatów bypass – will significantly improve road traffic and reduce congestion in the city center. I am proud of the Mostostal Warszawa team, which carried out this project with great professionalism and commitment -  emphasized Krzysztof Żmijan, Contract Director.

The northern connector links the Opatów junction on national road No. 9 with national road No. 74 near the village of Adamów. It is a single carriageway GP-class road (main road with accelerated traffic) approximately 3 km in length. The project included the construction of three engineering structures at intersections with district roads, two roundabouts, and access roads providing connectivity to adjacent areas.

Opatów Bypass

The investment is an integral complement to the 12-kilometer Opatów bypass currently under construction, which is also being carried out by Mostostal Warszawa. Thanks to these new road sections, transit traffic will be redirected outside the city center, improving safety and the quality of life for local residents.
