Mostostal Warszawa has built a primary school in Poznań’s Strzeszyn district
Mostostal Warszawa has completed the construction of a primary school in Poznań’s Strzeszyn district. It is the largest educational investment in the capital of Greater Poland, carried out by Mostostal Warszawa on behalf of the company Poznańskie Inwestycje Miejskie. The project was worth PLN 81.4 million gross.
- We have built a public facility so much needed by the residents of Strzeszyn. I would like to thank our subcontractors, partners, and suppliers – everyone who contributed to the success of this project. I would also like to thank the Investor, Poznańskie Inwestycje Miejskie, for their excellent cooperation during the implementation - emphasized Marcin Sierpowski, Western Region Director at Mostostal Warszawa.
A school and kindergarten in one place
The complex, with an area of over 10,000 m², was designed with the rapidly growing community of the district in mind. Starting from September 2025, it will house Primary School No. 99 and Kindergarten No. 201. The facility will accommodate a total of 40 classes – 32 school classes and 8 kindergarten groups.
The Y-shaped building allows for a convenient division of space for different age groups. The central part includes: a spacious lobby, a gymnasium with full sports facilities, a cafeteria, a library, a common room, and administrative offices.
The school grounds also feature:
- three sports fields,
- two playgrounds,
- covered bicycle racks with photovoltaic panels,
- charging stations for bicycles, scooters, and electric mopeds.
With safety and the environment in mind
Particular attention was paid to environmental protection during the project. Existing trees were preserved, and the area surrounding the building was enriched with numerous new plantings, in line with the Environmental Protection Program for the City of Poznań.
