Mostostal Warszawa for University of Science and Technology
Mostostal Warszawa will renovate and rebuild student house of University of Science and Technology in Cracow. The scope of works includes, among others, reorganization and reconstruction of dormitories along with social and economic area and canteen. Modernization aims to increase comfort of life and improve technical status of the building. The value of contract realized by South Region Mostostal Warszawa amounts to PLN 23 mln gross.
Cracovian student house is located on student campus of University of Science and Technology at Rostafińskiego Street 11. It is a standalone 17-storey building of mixed construction, with a basement (36,63 m long and 20,55 m width and 49,9 m height). This is the fourth investment, after Computer Science Centre, Academic Computer Centre CYFRONET and Faculty of Energy and Fuels, realized by Mostostal Warszawa for University of Science and Technology in Cracow.
„The subject of the contract is divided in two parts: renovation and investment. First, involves construction works, renovation of the facades with isolation, kitchen technology, electric installation, lighting installation, central heating installation with heat exchanger, installation with water and sewage system. In the investment part we will perform works that includes, among others, IT network, installations of SAP and DSO, CCTV system, control of access, ringtones, electric power generator and mecanical and fire-fighting ventilation” – said Janusz Stanaszek, Director of South Region Mostostal Warszawa.
