Mostostal Warszawa develops in energy construction. The company signed a contract for a 132 MW heating plant

On 28 August 2018 Mostostal Warszawa signed with Elektrociepłownia Stalowa Wola S.A. contract for the construction of a reserve heat source. The contract value is PLN 55 million.

- In the area of ​​power engineering, Mostostal Warszawa is developing in heating. The reserve heating plant, which we will build in Stalowa Wola, will effectively secure the supply of thermal energy to the city - says Jorge Calabuig Ferre, Vice President of the Board of Mostostal Warszawa S.A.

The reserve heating plant will consist of three water boiler with a capacity of 36 MW each, one water boiler with a capacity of 12 MW and a steam boiler with a capacity of 15 t/h (capacity: 12 MWt). The total power of the plant will be about 120 MWt, including a steam boiler - 132 MWt.

- I am glad that Mostostal Warszawa will be able to show its unique competences in the field of energy construction. After the successfully implemented project of blocks 5 and 6 in the Opole Power Plant, it's time for smaller, but also ambitious and technologically complex tasks - says Paweł Żbikowski, Director of the Energy and Industry Department in Mostostal Warszawa.

The heating plant will secure about 70% of the heat demand in the peak of the heating season. The recipients of the produced thermal energy will be two independent heating systems and recipients of technological steam.

Details of the contract
Contract value: PLN 55 million gross
Implementation deadline: 15 months.
Payment deadline: within 30 days from the date of delivery of invoices to the Ordering Party.
The warranty period is 24 months - Basic Period, and 60 months - Extended Period.
Due performance security for: 10% of the contract value.
