Mostostal Warszawa commissions new works on the construction of new blocks in the Opole Power Plant
On 27 October 2015 was launched the next stage of expansion of Opole Power Plant. Mostostal Warszawa signed a contract with the company from Krapkowice – Multiserwis – for the supply and installation of the thermal insulation of new power units.
The surface of insulation on the boiler unit no. 5 and 6 will have more than 27 000 m2. In addition to the insulation of boilers the same company will also perform for Alstom Boiler Deutschland insulation works on pipelines channels and all auxiliary devices. Works at this stage should begin in the spring of next year. Value of contract signed by Mostostal Warszawa is 13.3 million.
– We just signed another major subcontract in Opole Power Plant. After the great concreting and installation of steel structures for boilers it is time to work on the assembly of package boiler pressure parts and the execution of insulation works – commented Paweł Żbikowski, Director of Opole Project on behalf of Mostostal Warszawa.
In October, there were also signed other major subcontracts worth almost 158 million zł: two contracts for installation package boiler pressure parts with the company SAEM Energomonta from Romania and a consortium of PAK SERVICE CKTiS, THERMO-REX, a contract with the company Kaefer SA for integrated delivery and installation of a lightweight construction of the walls and roofs of boiler’s units no. 5 and 6, and also a contract with Instal Warszawa for constructing three ash storage tanks.
