Mostostal Warszawa is safe. Employees active during Safety Week

Mostostal Warszawa once again took part in the Safety Week - an initiative undertaken by the Agreement for Safety in Construction, whose aim is to improve safety at Polish construction sites.

This year's, edition Safety Week is the seventh one and it was held on 5-11 October 2020 under the motto: "The team is safe". The aim of this year's action was to make people aware of the importance of involvement and joint responsibility for the safety of all participants in the construction process.

 

As part of the Safety Week, employees of Mostostal Warszawa carried out a number of projects aimed at drawing the attention of employees and the entire business environment to the importance of modern, proactive OHS solutions. The main events include quarters of an hour of health and safety, training on work at height, meetings with representatives of the National Labor Inspectorate, demonstrations of equipment for collective security and fire-hazardous work protection and knowledge quizzes with prizes.

 

The involvement of Mostostal Warszawa's staff is evidenced by the data: 380 Mostostal engineers and 1,909 employees of our subcontracting companies participated in the events organized as part of the Safety Week. In total, 89 shows were organized. with health and safety.

 

- From the first edition, we can see the great involvement of Mostostal Warszawa employees in an important and needed initiative, which is the Safety Week. This confirms that, as a company with 75 years of tradition and experience in the construction market, we treat safety as our priority. I would like to thank everyone who actively contributed to our activities - says Jacek Szymanek, Member of the Management Board of Mostostal Warszawa.

Mostostal Warszawa is a signatory member of the Agreement for Safety in Construction - an initiative created in August 2010 by the seven largest general contractors in Poland. The mission of the Agreement is to carry out activities aimed at raising the level of work safety culture in the construction industry, and the goal is to eliminate fatal accidents on Polish construction sites.
