Mostostal Warszawa and Mostostal Płock have completed the contract for the expansion of the PERN Fuel Base in Dębogórze
As part of the project, three new storage tanks for petroleum products were built, each with a capacity of 50,000 m³.
The investment was carried out on behalf of PERN S.A.
- The completion of this project is another example of effective cooperation between two companies within the Mostostal Warszawa Group, combining experience and execution potential in implementing projects of strategic importance for the country’s energy security. We are proud of the efficiently executed projects that strengthen Poland’s critical infrastructure - said Marcin Kondraszuk, Member of the Management Board of Mostostal Warszawa for Production Support and Organization.
A project of strategic importance
The Fuel Base in Dębogórze is one of the key logistical points in Poland’s fuel distribution system.
Before the expansion, its capacity was 360,000 m³, and thanks to the investment completed by the Mostostal Warszawa and Mostostal Płock consortium, it increased by 150,000 m³.
This marks another stage in the development of the coastal fuel hub, recognized as part of Poland’s strategic infrastructure crucial for national and regional energy security.
The project was included in the critical infrastructure development program, with a total value of PLN 147.7 million (net).
The new infrastructure enables the storage of emergency fuel reserves and provides greater flexibility in fuel trading, directly contributing to strengthening Poland’s energy independence.
Many years of experience
The consortium of Mostostal Warszawa and Mostostal Płock has been cooperating with PERN for many years.
Among the jointly completed projects are:
- Expansion of the tank farm in Gdańsk (2018–2020) – construction of two tanks with a total capacity of 200,000 m³, increasing PERN’s storage capacity to 1.1 million m³ (contract value: PLN 142.95 million net).
- Construction of storage tanks at Fuel Bases in Koluszki, Nowa Wieś Wielka, and Dębogórze (2021–2022) – seven tanks with a capacity of 32,000 m³ each (contract value: PLN 210.5 million net).
- Storage tanks at Fuel Bases in Boronów and Rejowiec (2019–2024) – three tanks with a total capacity of 74,000 m³ (contract value: PLN 132.5 million net).
The total of fifteen tanks built together so far has become a hallmark of our operations. Long-term cooperation with PERN and experience in implementing projects of high technical complexity confirm the competence of the Mostostal Warszawa and Mostostal Płock consortium as a trusted partner in constructing strategic energy infrastructure.
