Despite the slowdown in European economies related to the coronavirus pandemic, Mostostal Kielce in 2020 won eight export contracts for the amount of approximately PLN 30 million. Under these contracts, the company will deliver viaducts and bridges to Germany, Austria and France. Mostostal Kielce is also doing well on the domestic market - in 2020 and 2021 will build eight new bridge structures.

Mostostal Kielce started 2020 with a rich portfolio of orders for nearly PLN 90 million in terms of the planned annual turnover of PLN 130 million. Behind this success were several large contracts, the implementation of which is taking place in 2020. In addition to the order for over PLN 50 million, covering the comprehensive delivery and assembly of steel structures for the flue gas denitrification system at Jaworzno III Power Plant, the project of building a pedestrian and bicycle bridge to the Bolko Island was significant. in Opole for the amount of nearly PLN 24 million. Its completion and ceremonial commissioning is scheduled for the end of September.

- Due to the economic effects of the pandemic, there are no large contracts in the industrial sector, and the number of steel bridges being designed is decreasing. That is why we diversify our activities towards general implementation of road investments, also with prefabricated reinforced concrete bridges - says Krzysztof Rusiecki, President of the Management Board of Mostostal Kielce.
