In the second quarter of this year, we completed one of the most modern investments in Poland - the consolidation of the headquarters of the Marshal's Office in Szczecin. The building is the only seat of a provincial government in our country created within the framework of passive construction. The investment was among the finalists in the competition entitled "Modernisation of the Year & Construction of the 21st century".

What sets this facility apart from the other finalists?
Appearance and features:
The consolidated headquarters of the Marshal's Office of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Szczecin combines architectural modernity with history. The complex includes a building from the 1920s and a new passive building. The two buildings are connected by an underground passage. The building is as self-sufficient as possible thanks to the installations and the material, construction and energy solutions used. The complex requires a negligible amount of external energy to function.
Environmental friendliness:
The complex is a model of efficient energy use, which translates into environmental friendliness. It has installed a BMS (Building Management System) for efficient energy management, while ensuring high air quality, thermal comfort and adequate lighting levels.
Innovative solutions:
The Marshal's Office headquarters is all about intelligent solutions that generate huge energy and water savings. The building is equipped with photovoltaic panels installed on the roof, uses rainwater for sanitary purposes and draws heat from a heat pump, among other things, for heating.
Ecological certification:
The project has been awarded the prestigious Passive Building Certificate by the Passivhaus Institut in Darmstadt and the BREEAM sustainable and environmental building system certificate, at very good level.
Electromobility:
With electromobility in mind, the building is equipped with 13 charging stations for electric cars.
Facilities for cyclists:
For cyclists, there is a modern bicycle room with a capacity for 50 bikes, equipped with changing rooms and a clothes dryer.
