BIM in the process of building renovation
Together with the City of Warsaw, we undertook the implementation of innovative facade panels on the Nursery building No. 3 in Warsaw. BIM tools helped us in the task.
As part of the P2ENDURE European project, the City of Warsaw tested innovative construction products in the renovation process. Nursery No. 3 in Ursynów district was selected as the demonstration building. Before the commencement of construction works, an inventory was carried out using laser scanning, which resulted in a point cloud. On its basis, we created BIM models, which were the basis for further design and energy simulations.
Thanks to the extension of the building, the number of places for children has doubled. The building's energy efficiency and comfort levels for the youngest users have been improved.
