The factory belongs to the Autoliv group - the world leader in production of safety components for the automotive industry. Autoliv employs 66 thousand employees in 27 countries. The Polish factory of Autoliv is the second largest manufacturer of airbag modules at the Autoliv concern.

- Autoliv has a long and proud history. Today is another important date in this history - said Mikael Bratt, CEO of the Autoliv group. - "Thank you" for the partners who will help us to extend our Polish factory.

The ceremony of laying the cornerstone was attended by the most important representatives of Autoliv, the city authorities of Jelcz-Laskowice and Oława, as well as representatives of the general contractor - Mostostal Warszawa.

- The fact that Mostostal Warszawa will expand the Autoliv facory in Jelcz-Laskowice means that we will contribute to the production of innovative solutions which protect the health and lives of travelers. Values ​​such as innovation and security, successfully implemented by our partner, are also crucial for Mostostal Warszawa - says Jorge Calabuig Ferre, Vice President of the Board of Mostostal Warszawa.

The contract for the extension of the Autoliv plant in Jelcz Laskowice was signed on 23 August 2018.
