Mostostal Warszawa has signed a contract for the construction of a unique residential project - Wawrzyńca19 - in the Kazimierz district of Kraków. The project envisages the building of a modern apartment complex in the power station that dates back to 1914. The value of the investment is estimated at over PLN 30 million.
The architectural potential of the post-industrial space makes it possible to use original features and create a structure that combines industrial aesthetics with functionality. There will be several types of new apartments – from studios to multi-level apartments and penthouses.
“The Wawrzyńca19 investment is for Mostostal Warszawa, after the Concert Centre in Torun, another courageous and challenging project. Modernising and transforming this historic power station into an attractive apartment complex while maintaining its former glory is a big challenge. The trick is to also to combine the spirit of a bygone era with modern solutions that are designed to make life easier and increase the comfort of future residents. We hope that the new structure will blend in with the charming architecture of Kazimierz and the city of Krakow," said Artur Sikora, Contract Director at Mostostal Warszawa
