An important step in the dialogue with Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne
Mostostal Warszawa, together with other leading companies in the construction sector, is actively participating in a dialogue with Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne (PSE). A joint set of proposals has been developed by a group of several companies operating within the Energy Committee of the Polish Association of Construction Industry Employers (PZPB), aimed at modifying the PSE contract template – in the spirit of partnership and balanced contractual relations.
Among the key issues that contractors wish to address first are: limiting contractor liability by defining the allocation of contractual risks during the investment process, introducing compensation for delays not caused by the contractor, changing the method of calculating remuneration for additional works, establishing fixed working hours at PSE facilities, and allowing early payments to contractors for equipment and materials delivered either to the construction site or to a location or warehouse agreed upon and approved by the contracting authority.
The first workshop with PSE will be held on 23 July this year.
In addition to Mostostal Warszawa, the group of contractors involved in the dialogue with PSE includes: Aldesa, API, Budimex, Elemont, Elfeko, Enprom, Strabag, Mirbud, MLElectric, Olmex, Romgos, SPIE, Track Tec Construction, Trakcja, Unibep, Victor Energy, and Warbud.
