The concluded contract is the next contract in the field of environmental protection that AMK Kraków will implement for PEC Gliwice. In the period from to 2007 to 2016, a company from the Mostostal Warszawa Group performed desulphurisation and dedusting installations for WR-25 and WP-70 boilers in the same heat plant as part of separate agreements. This time, the project also includes the implementation of a flue gas denitrification system using selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR).

The scope of the signed contract comprises the following: technology, building permit, engineering in all branches, building and assembly works, as well as complex start-up works (both mechanical and control system) and commissioning.
