Mostostal Warszawa continues to improve results
Mostostal Warszawa has published a consolidated financial report concerning the group's operation for the third quarter of 2014. The Group maintains result improvement tendency initiated in the first half of 2014.
In the middle of November, the Mostostal Warszawa group published financial results for the third quarter of this year. The results confirmed a positive future outlook reflecting the activities taken over the past year. The Group generated a turnover at a PLN 1.1 billion with a gross margin of PLN 67.2 million and pre-tax profits of PLN 17.3 million. According to the situation at the end of November 2014, financial resources in the capital group totaled PLN 228 million with turnover capital at PLN 149 million. “For Mostostal Warszawa, the year 2014 will undoubtedly mean regaining profitability and solvency and thus creating solid foundations for a promising future," declared Carlos Resino Ruiz, Member of the Board and Chief Financial Officer at Mostostal Warszawa. The Mostostal Warszawa group's key construction projects commissioned this year include: Kraków Arena (Conference and Sports Centre), Center for Applied Sciences of the University of Silesia in Katowice, Brama Mazur Shopping Center in Ełk, the Opalenica ringroad, a road bridge in Toruń and the assembly of a biomass boiler in Karlstad.
Over recent months, the Mostostal Warszawa group has also obtained contracts totaling PLN 844 million, including the passenger terminal at the Masurian airport in Szymany, residential building projects in Warsaw and Poznan, the complete renovation of the AGH University in Krakow (including the conversion of the building), a sports arena in Zakopane, and the second stage of the construction of a desulphurization system for the WP-70 boiler room at Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej - Gliwice Sp. z o.o. Mostostal Warszawa’s portfolio of orders amounts to PLN 3.4 billion.
